Dangerous Goods (ADR)Carriage of dangerous goods is one of the services rendered by us. The ADR (the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) sets nine hazard classes (classified from 1 to 9 according to the hazard level). Each hazard class has certain criteria by which the materials are assigned to one or another class. We carry ADR cargo assigned all the classes except those of Class 1: Explosive substances and articles, and Class 7: Radioactive material, from Europe to Baltic countries, Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. The Dangerous Goods (ADR) category covers goods that during transportation or storage thereof can become the cause of: diseases, intoxication, human and animal burns, explosion, fire, as well as lead to failure of other cargoes, rolling stock, constructions and equipment, and contaminated environment. Due to these reasons, the carriage and storage of dangerous goods require highest qualification, compliance with appropriate precautions and extra attention to be paid to the entire workflow.
Our company’s vehicles meet the requirements for transportation of dangerous goods. Our drivers have certificates required for transportation of dangerous goods and periodically attend special refresher courses for their knowledge and skills.
We carry dangerous goods by road, sea, and rail or in a multi-modal way. For such transportations, a route is planned, the cargo movement and transshipments are controlled, the temperature regimen is taken into account, as well as packaging requirements, and so on. When transporting dangerous goods, we offer a special insurance. We have extensive experience in sphere of transportation of a wide variety of dangerous goods: from alimentary products to building materials, chemicals and various gases.
